About Us

Cheshire Marine Equipment, formerly Kingslock Boat Yard, is owned and operated by
Mick Sivewright, who has over 40 years experience in the marine industry including building
over 220 narrowboats and Dutch style barges.  

We moved from Kingslock in May 2014 to a more suitable premises at Aqueduct Marina
in Nantwich where we concentrated more on our role as a supplier of marine equipment to
some of the best boat builders, marinas, chandleries and boat yards in the UK.

In June 2020 we were given an excellent opportunity to move to Nantwich Marina, back to
our roots.  We are alongside like-minded people and helping to provide an excellent range
of products and services.

For the more technical products in our range, we are here to help and advise, and often work
with boat builders or individuals on; bow thruster calculations and selection, propeller and
stern gear calculations, engine selection, hydraulic steering calculations, waste water system
design, and much more.
